Ανοιχτό κάλεσμα συμμετοχής στην ομάδα κήπου.
Ερχόμενη η άνοιξη και μαζί της μια από τις πιο δραστήριες εποχές του χρόνου, έρχεται και η ευκαιρία να ξεκινήσουμε να φυτεύουμε, να μαθαίνουμε και να σχεδιάζουμε. Η ομάδα κήπου του σχολείου ανέκαθεν ήταν μια ομάδα με σκοπό τη γνώση, τον διάλογο και την καλλιέργεια λαχανικών και βοτάνων που επιβιώνουν από γενιά σε γενιά με πρακτικές που έχουν σαν σκοπό την υγεία του περιβάλλοντος και των ανθρώπων.
Η γνώση και η οργάνωση της καλλιέργειας είναι μια πολύπλευρη πρακτική που παίζει σημαντικό ρόλο για τη διαμόρφωση της εκάστοτε κοινωνίας. Όλη η ανθρώπινη ιστορία βασίζεται στο πώς ο άνθρωπος καλλιεργεί τη γη και αξιοποιεί τους πόρους της. Συνεπώς, ποιος κατέχει τη γνώση και τις πρακτικές της είναι και η απαρχή της εξουσίας. Στην σημερινή αστική φιλελεύθερη κοινωνία η γνώση της καλλιέργειας, πέρα από την ακαδημαϊκή οδό, είναι βυθισμένη κάπου μέσα στη θάλασσα της πληροφορίας του ίντερνετ σε ένα χάος από τεχνοκράτες και ειδικούς της κάθε διαφορετικής μορφής καλλιέργειας. Η άλλη οδός που θα μπορούσε κάποιος να πάρει για να αποκτήσει γνώση είναι η προσφυγή στην εξοχή για εργασία ή εθελοντισμό. Και εκεί διαπιστώνεται πως η γνώση, οι πρακτικές και η εμπειρία στην καλλιέργεια είναι χρυσός και σχεδόν πάντα έχουν αντίτιμο. Είτε είσαι καλλιεργητής και βασίζεσαι στις συμβουλές και πρακτικές των γεωπόνων, είτε ως εργάτης/εθελοντής και βασίζεσαι στις γνώσεις του εκάστοτε διαχειριστή της γης.
Ένας από τους πρωταρχικούς ρόλους και στόχους της ομάδας είναι η ελεύθερη διάδοση της γνώσης, της εμπειρίας και των πρακτικών που έχουμε συναντήσει ανά τους καιρούς σε διάφορα μέρη της γης. Η καλλιέργεια έχει πρακτικές από τις απαρχές του ανθρώπινου πολιτισμού, συνεπώς δεν υπάρχει καμία "σωστή" και καθολική πρακτική που μπορεί να δουλέψει παντού. Έχει να κάνει ξεκάθαρα με τη νοοτροπία της κοινωνίας στην κάθε περιοχή.
Το μόνο αδιαμφισβήτητο γεγονός είναι η επίδραση του ανθρώπου μέσω της αγροτικής δραστηριότητας στο εκάστοτε οικοσύστημα μέχρι και την ολική εικόνα του πλανήτη. Δεν είναι τυχαίο που στα μέρη όπου έγινε η αγροτική επανάσταση πριν από 10.000 χρόνια και τριγύρω από την περιοχή της Μεσοποταμίας, πλέον υπάρχει σχεδόν μόνο έρημος. Οι πρακτικές που χρησιμοποιούσαν εκείνη την εποχή δεν διαφέρουν παρά πολύ από αυτές που χρησιμοποιούμε ακόμα και σήμερα. Μόνο που σήμερα έχουμε την τεχνολογία και τη χημεία που έχουν πολύ πιο άμεσες και ραγδαίες επιπτώσεις στην παραγωγή αλλά επίσης και στο οικοσύστημα. Πλέον με τις σύγχρονες μεθόδους τοπία ερημοποιούνται σε δεκαετίες αντί για αιώνες. Σε συνδυασμό με την πράσινη ανάπτυξη η οποία μετατρέπει γεωργικές και ορεινές περιοχές σε "εργοστάσια" παραγωγής ενέργειας και τα αυξανόμενα ακραία φαινόμενα και θερμοκρασίες κάνουν το μέλλον δυστοπικό.
Για να προλάβουμε την δυστοπία οφείλουμε να καταλάβουμε και να επιλέξουμε τις πρακτικές που μπορούν να φέρουν περισσότερη ευφορία στο κάθε τόπο. Ευφορία όχι μόνο στο έδαφος αλλά και στις αγροτικές κοινωνίες. Οι αγώνες των αγροτών είναι ένα ζήτημα που αφορά τον καθένα μας. Είναι κυριολεκτικά ο λόγος που μπορούμε να επιβιώσουμε στις πόλεις μας. Συνεπώς ο διάλογος με τους αγρότες και η κατανόηση των προβλημάτων και των απαιτήσεων τους από την πολιτεία είναι απαραίτητος.
Με πρόφαση να φυτεψουμε αρωματικά φυτά και βότανα στον χώρο του Σχολείου κάνουμε άνοιγμα για τη δημιουργία της ομάδας κήπου. Θέλουμε να δημιουργήσουμε τις κατάλληλες συνθήκες για πειραματισμό, ανταλλαγή γνώσεων, εμπειριών και πρακτικών, να σχεδιάσουμε και να ονειρευτούμε. Με πρώτη εκδήλωση για τη δημιουργία της ομάδας και ανταλλαγή ιδεών το Σάββατο 29/3 στις 15.00, ώστε να εδραιωσουμε ως σταθερή μέρα κάθε Σάββατο. Ένας από τους σκοπούς είναι κάθε Σάββατο να υπάρχει μια θεματική για συζήτηση και ταυτόχρονα να κάνουμε και μερικές δουλίτσες στις γλάστρουλες μας. Η παραγωγή φαγητού είναι από τις πιο σημαντικές πολιτικές και κοινωνικές δράσεις και ήρθε η ώρα να πάρουμε αυτή τη γνώση στα λασπωμένα χέρια μας στον χώρο του Ελεύθερου Κοινωνικού Χώρου 'Σχολείο'. Μέσα απο ανοιχτούς κατελειμένους χώρους να βαλούμε λίγο πράσινο στο ατελείωτο γκριζο της πόλης μας με τους δικούς μας οριζόντιους όρους !
Open Call for Participation in the Garden Group
As spring arrives, bringing one of the most active seasons of the year, we have the opportunity to start planting, learning, and planning. The school's garden group has always been dedicated to knowledge, dialogue, and the cultivation of vegetables and herbs passed down from generation to generation using practices aimed at benefiting both the environment and human health.
The knowledge and organization of cultivation is a multifaceted practice that plays a significant role in shaping each society. Human history is based on how people cultivate the land and utilize its resources. Consequently, those who possess knowledge and skills in cultivation have always held power. In today's urban liberal society, agricultural knowledge, apart from academic pathways, is lost in the vast sea of information on the internet, among a chaotic mix of technocrats and specialists in various forms of cultivation. Another way to acquire this knowledge is through working or volunteering in rural areas. There, one quickly realizes that agricultural knowledge, practices, and experience are invaluable and often come at a price. Whether as a farmer relying on agronomists' advice or as a worker/volunteer depending on the knowledge of a landowner, access to this wisdom is not always free.
One of the primary goals of our group is the free sharing of knowledge, experience, and practices we have encountered from various parts of the world. Since cultivation has existed since the dawn of human civilization, there is no single "right" or universal practice that works everywhere. The approach always depends on the culture of each region.
One undeniable fact is that human agricultural activity affects the surrounding ecosystem and even the overall health of our planet. It is no coincidence that the areas where the Agricultural Revolution began 10,000 years ago, around Mesopotamia, are now mostly desert. The agricultural techniques used then were not much different from those still in use today. However, modern technology and chemistry now have more immediate and dramatic effects on production and ecosystems. With contemporary methods, landscapes can become deserts within decades rather than centuries. Meanwhile, "green development" is converting agricultural and mountainous regions into "factories" for energy production, and increasing extreme weather conditions make the future look dystopian.
To prevent this dystopia, we must understand and choose the practices that bring more prosperity to each region-not only for the soil but also for rural communities. Farmers' struggles concern all of us, as they are the reason we can survive in our cities. Therefore, engaging in dialogue with farmers and understanding their issues and demands from the state is essential.
With the aim of planting aromatic plants and herbs in the school's space, we invite you to join the creation of our garden group. We want to establish the right conditions for experimentation, knowledge exchange, and hands-on learning, as well as to plan and dream together. Our first meeting for forming the group and exchanging ideas will take place on Saturday, March 29, at 15:00, with the goal of establishing a regular meeting every Saturday. Each Saturday, we plan to have a discussion topic while also tending to our plants.
Food production is one of the most important political and social actions, and it is time we take this knowledge into our own muddy hands in the space of the Free Social Center 'Scholeio'. Through open, reclaimed spaces, let's add some green to the endless gray of our city-on our own terms, in a collective and horizontal way!
Appel ouvert à la participation au groupe de jardinage
Avec l'arrivée du printemps, l'une des saisons les plus actives de l'année, nous avons l'occasion de commencer à planter, apprendre et planifier. Le groupe de jardinage de l'école a toujours été dédié au savoir, au dialogue et à la culture de légumes et d'herbes transmises de génération en génération, en utilisant des pratiques visant à préserver la santé de l'environnement et des êtres humains.
La connaissance et l'organisation de l'agriculture sont des pratiques complexes qui jouent un rôle essentiel dans la formation de chaque société. Toute l'histoire de l'humanité repose sur la manière dont les hommes cultivent la terre et exploitent ses ressources. Par conséquent, ceux qui possèdent les connaissances et les pratiques agricoles détiennent également une forme de pouvoir. Dans notre société urbaine et libérale moderne, le savoir agricole, en dehors des formations académiques, est noyé dans l'océan d'informations d'Internet, perdu parmi des technocrates et des experts en toutes sortes de méthodes agricoles. Une autre façon d'acquérir ce savoir est de partir travailler ou faire du bénévolat en milieu rural. Là-bas, on se rend vite compte que la connaissance, les pratiques et l'expérience en agriculture sont précieuses et ont presque toujours un coût. Que l'on soit agriculteur dépendant des conseils des ingénieurs agronomes ou travailleur/bénévole apprenant des propriétaires terriens, l'accès à ces savoirs est rarement gratuit.
L'un des objectifs principaux de notre groupe est la diffusion libre des connaissances, des expériences et des pratiques agricoles que nous avons découvertes à travers le monde. L'agriculture existe depuis les débuts de la civilisation humaine, il n'existe donc pas de méthode « correcte » et universelle qui fonctionne partout. Tout dépend de la mentalité et des traditions propres à chaque société locale.
Un fait indéniable est l'impact de l'activité agricole humaine sur l'écosystème et, plus largement, sur l'équilibre de la planète. Ce n'est pas un hasard si les terres où la Révolution agricole a commencé il y a 10 000 ans, autour de la Mésopotamie, sont aujourd'hui principalement désertiques. Les techniques utilisées à cette époque ne différaient pas tant de celles que nous employons encore aujourd'hui. Cependant, avec les avancées technologiques et chimiques modernes, les effets sur la production et l'environnement sont bien plus rapides et intenses. Aujourd'hui, des paysages entiers se transforment en déserts en quelques décennies au lieu de plusieurs siècles. En parallèle, le développement dit « vert » transforme les terres agricoles et les zones montagneuses en « usines » de production d'énergie, tandis que les phénomènes climatiques extrêmes se multiplient, rendant l'avenir de plus en plus dystopique.
Pour éviter cette dystopie, nous devons comprendre et choisir les pratiques qui favorisent la prospérité locale. Une prospérité qui ne concerne pas seulement la terre, mais aussi les communautés agricoles. Les luttes des agriculteurs nous concernent tous, car ce sont eux qui nous permettent de survivre dans nos villes. Il est donc essentiel d'engager un dialogue avec eux et de comprendre leurs problèmes et leurs revendications auprès des pouvoirs publics.
Avec l'idée de planter des plantes aromatiques et médicinales dans l'espace de l'école, nous lançons un appel à la création d'un groupe de jardinage. Nous souhaitons créer les conditions idéales pour expérimenter, échanger des connaissances et des pratiques, concevoir et rêver ensemble. La première rencontre pour fonder le groupe et partager nos idées aura lieu le samedi 29 mars à 15h00, avec l'objectif d'en faire un rendez-vous régulier chaque samedi. Chaque semaine, nous proposerons un thème de discussion tout en prenant soin de nos plantes.
La production alimentaire est l'un des actes politiques et sociaux les plus importants, et il est temps de reprendre ce savoir entre nos mains pleines de terre, dans l'espace du Centre Social Libre "École". Grâce aux espaces ouverts et récupérés, ajoutons un peu de vert à la grisaille infinie de notre ville, selon nos propres principes collectifs et horizontaux !
