Την Τετάρτη 25/10 στις 21.00 μαζευόμαστε στα επανακατειλλημένα Ζιζάνια (Φυλής&Φερών), για να δούμε μαζί μια σούμα από κουήρ σορτ φιλμς ντοκιμαντέρ και βιντεο αρτ.
Δεν βρισκόμαστε το βράδυ της Τετάρτης μόνο για να περάσουμε όμορφα και δημιουργικά αλλά για να στηρίξουμε και να συνεχίζουμε να δείχνουμε την αλληλεγγύη μας στο κατειλημμένο κοινωνικό κέντρο των Ζιζανίων.
Τα Ζιζάνια ανακαταλήφθηκαν το Σάββατο 14/10, με πολλές δυσκολίες, άγχη και κούραση, αλλά και με την ταυτόχρονη δημιουργία νέων συντροφικών σχέσεων και ανάδειξης της σημασίας και της αναγκαιότητας κατειλημμένων χώρων, όπου «χωράμε» να ζούμε ελεύθερα και όχι απλά να επιβιώνουμε.
Θα προβληθούν οι ακόλουθες ταινίες με την σειρά:
✰Kenneth Anger - Fireworks 1947, 15'.
Ο Anger είναι γενικά γνωστός ως ο πρώτος ανοιχτά γκέι δημιουργός ταινιών. Οι ταινίες του συνήθως μπλέκουν τον σουρεαλισμό με τον απόκοσμο ενώ πάντα θίγει το θέμα της ομοφυλοφιλίας. Το συγκεκριμένο έργο έχει βασιστεί σε έναν εφιάλτη του.
Το 1943 στην Αμερική, άντρες του στρατού κυνηγούσαν μεταναστά που φορούσαν zoot suits (κοστούμια που φορούσαν όσα άκουγαν τζαζ. Θεωρούσαν επίσης αντι-Αμερικανές τις θηλυκότητες που τα φορούσαν). Ο Κένεθ έγινε μάρτυρας ενός τέτοιου περιστατικού το οποίο και τον στοίχειωσε.

Φτιαγμένο το 1989, προβάλλεται ως ερωτικό αντίποινο για την τροποποίηση Helms, την άρνηση της κυβέρνησης των ΗΠΑ να χρηματοδοτήσει ρητές πληροφορίες πρόληψης του AIDS για ομοφυλόφιλους άνδρες, λεσβίες και χρήστες ενδοφλεβίως ναρκωτικών. Ο Καλίν ζωγραφίζει ένα πορτρέτο του εθνικού φόβου και της υστερίας που έχει σφετεριστεί τη συμπόνια και τη φροντίδα για τα άτομα με AIDS. Με τη συνηθισμένη οπτική φινέτσα του Kalin, αυτή η ταινία μεταφέρει εύγλωττα την ανάγκη για μια λογική και ανθρώπινη απάντηση στην κρίση που διατηρεί το πάθος και τη σεξουαλικότητα.

Μια ακτιβίστρια αφρικανικής καταγωγής, ψάχνει την επανάσταση στους δρόμους του Λονδίνου. Οι βίαιες ενέργειές της χαρακτηρίζονταν συχνά ως αποτέλεσμα ψυχικής ασθένειας.
Θα ακολουθήσει ανοιχτή οριζόντια συζήτηση, για όποια επιθυμούν να μιλήσουμε και να σκεφτούμε πάνω στις ταινίες.
Καθ' όλη την διάρκεια της δράσης θα υπάρχει μπαρ οικονομικής ενίσχυσης της συλλογικότητας και της κατάληψης.
Ρατσιστικές, ομοφοβικές, σεξιστικές, κουηροφοβικές, τρανσφοβικές, εξουσιαστικές, παραβιαστικές, μάτσο συμπεριφορές δε γίνονται ανεκτές.

On Wednesday 25/10 at 21.00 we gather at the re-squatted social centre Zizania (Fylis&Feron), to watch together queer short documentary films and video art pieces.
We will not only gather on Wednesday evening just to have a fun and creative time, but also to support and continue to express our solidarity with the occupied social center of Zizania.
Zizania was reoccupied on Saturday 14/10, overcoming many difficulties and with a lot of stress and fatigue, while simultaneously creating new relationships among comrades and highlighting the importance and necessity of occupied spaces, such as this one, that allow us to live freely (not just survive).
The following films will be screened in this order:
✰Kenneth Anger - Fireworks 1947, 15'.
Anger is generally known as the first openly gay filmmaker. His films usually mix surrealism with the unworldly while always touching homosexuality. This project is based on a nightmare of his.
In 1943 America, soldiers hunted immigrants who wore zoot suits (suits worn by those who listened to jazz. They also considered the femininities that wore them as "anti-American"). Kenneth witnessed one such incident which haunted him.

✰Tom Kalin- They are lost to vision altogether, 1989, 13', Short Film.
Made in 1989, "They are lost to vision altogether" serves as an erotic retaliation to the Helms Amendment, which stated the U.S. government's refusal to fund explicit AIDS prevention information for gay men, lesbians, and IV drug users. Kalin paints a portrait of the national fear and hysteria that has usurped compassion and care for people with AIDS. With Kalin's usual visual finesse, this tape eloquently conveys the need for a sane and human response to the crisis that retains passion and sexuality.

A female African American activist is searching for revolution on the streets of London. Her violent actions were often characterized as being the result of mental illness.
An open horizontal discussion will follow the screenings, for those who wish to communicate their views on the films.
During the event there will be a bar for financial support of the collective and the occupation.
Racist, homophobic, sexist, queerphobic, transphobic, authoritative, disruptive and macho behaviors won't be tolerated.

Le mercredi 25/10 à 21h00 nous nous retrouvons au centre social réoccupé Zizania (Fylis&Feron), pour regarder ensemble des courts métrages documentaires et des œuvres d'art vidéo queer.
Nous nous réunirons mercredi soir pas seulement pour passer une bonne soirée agréable et créative, mais aussi pour soutenir et continuer à exprimer notre solidarité avec le centre social occupé de Zizania.
Zizania a été réoccupé le samedi 14/10, surmontant de nombreuses difficultés et avec beaucoup de stress et de fatigue, mais tout en créant en même temps de nouvelles relations entre camarades et en soulignant l'importance et la nécessité des espaces occupés, comme celui-ci, qui nous permettent de vivre librement (pas seulement de survivre).
Les films suivants seront projetés dans cet ordre :

Anger est généralement connu comme le premier cinéaste ouvertement gay. Ses films sont un mélange de surréalisme et de surnaturel tout en touchant toujours à l'homosexualité. Ce projet est basé sur un de ses cauchemars.
En Amérique de 1943, les soldats chassaient les immigrants qui portaient des costumes zoot (des costumes portés par ceux qui écoutaient du jazz. Ils considéraient également les féminités qui les portait comme « anti-américaines »). Kenneth a été témoin d'un de ces incidents qui l'a hanté.

Réalisé en 1989, « They are lost to vision altogether » constitue des représailles érotiques à l'Amendement Helms, qui déclarait le refus du gouvernement américain de financer des informations explicites sur la prévention du SIDA pour les hommes gays, les lesbiennes et les consommateurs de drogues intraveineuses. Kalin peint un portrait de la peur et de l'hystérie nationale de ce temps-là qui ont usurpé la compassion et les soins apportés aux personnes atteintes du SIDA. Avec la finesse visuelle habituelle de Kalin, ce film exprime avec éloquence la nécessité d'une réponse sensée et humaine à la crise qui retient la passion et la sexualité.

Une militante afro-américaine cherche la révolution dans les rues de Londres. Ses actes violents étaient souvent caractérisés comme le résultat d'une maladie mentale.
Une discussion horizontale ouverte suivra la projection, pour tou.te.s celleux qui souhaitent communiquer leur point de vue sur les films.
Pendant l'événement, il y aura un bar pour le soutien financier du collectif et de l'occupation.
Les comportements racistes, homophobes, sexistes, queerphobes, transphobes, autoritaires, perturbateurs et machistes ne seront pas tolérés.

Te mbremjen e Merkures nuk takohemi vetëm per te kaluar një kohë të këndshme dhe kreative por për të mbështetur dhe te vazdojmë të tregojmë solidaritetin tonë në qendrën sociale okupuar Zizania.
Ndertesha Zizania u riokuperu të Shtunën 14/10, me shumë vështirësi, ankthë dhe lodhje, por edhe me njëkohësisht krijimin marrëdhënjeve te rea shoqerorë dhe duke theksuar rëndësinë dhe domosdoshmërinë e hapësirave okupuar, që na lejojnë të jetojmë lirshëm, jo thjesht të mbijetojmë.

Kalin pikturon një portret të frikës kombëtare dhe histerisë që ka uzurpuar dhembshurinë dhe kujdesin për njerëzit me SIDA.
