Comfort:
"Comfort", μια λέξη που υπονοεί ασφάλεια, σύμβαση και οι συνδηλώσεις της είναι γονικές, απαλές και ουδέτερες. Τα αδέρφια Natalie και Sean μετακόμισαν στη Γλασκώβη με σκοπό να δημιουργήσουν μια μπάντα που θα αντιστέκεται στις παραδόσεις, αναπτύσσοντας τον ήχο τους μέσα από χρόνια εντατικής γραφής, εξάσκησης και εμφανίσεων σε χώρους της queer/punk σκηνής της Γλασκώβης.
Η σύνθεση των Comfort αποτελείται από τον Sean στα ντραμς και τη Natalie ως frontwoman, με την συνοδεία ψηφιακών συνθεσάιζερ για να δημιουργήσουν μουσική που είναι άμεση, ελκυστική και ασυμβίβαστη. Απορρίπτοντας τα πρότυπα της βιομηχανίας σχετικά με το πώς υποτίθεται ότι πρέπει να γράφεται και να παράγεται ένα τραγούδι, η συγκρουσιακή ευαλωτότητα που ενυπάρχει στη μουσική τους φτάνει σε μια προσωπική, αλλά και queer απελευθέρωση μέσα σε μια περιοριστική κοινωνία.
Το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους, Not Passing, κυκλοφόρησε το 2019. Πρόσφατα, η μπάντα παρήγαγε αρκετό υλικό για τη δημιουργία ενός EP και ενός LP, το τελευταίο εκ των οποίων έχει τίτλο "What's Bad Enough?" και πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 05/05/2023.

Comfort:
'comfort' is a word that implies safety, convention, its connotations are parental, soft and neutral. Sibling duo Natalie and Sean re-located to Glasgow with the intention of forming a band that resisted traditions, developing their sound through years of intensive writing, practicing and
performing in spaces aligned with Glasgow's queer/punk scene.
Comfort's set up consists of Sean on drums and Natalie as magnetic frontwoman, backed by wildly oscillating software synths to create music that is direct, engaging and uncompromising. Rejecting industry standards regarding how a song is supposed to be written and produced, the confrontational vulnerability inherent in their music reaches for a personal, yet queer liberation within a constrictive society.
Their debut album, Not Passing, was released in 2019. Recently, the band produced enough material to create an EP and LP, the latter of which is entitled 'What's Bad Enough?' and is set to release on 05/05/2023.
